Who we are

We are the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
- Your email address. Collected by Stripe when you buy, and used to send you your song.
- The song we make for you. The lyrics, the audio file, the style you chose, and when it was made.
- A record of your purchase. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Your IP address, used only to limit abuse of the service. It is not used to build a profile of you.
What we do not store
We do not keep what you write in the free-text boxes. It is sent once to write your song, and then discarded.
Please note: the lyrics we generate may reflect what you told us, and those lyrics are saved with your song. If you wrote about something personal, it may appear in the song. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process your email address and your song to provide the service you paid for (performance of a contract). We process your IP address to keep the service working and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
Who else is involved
We use a small number of providers to run the service:
- Stripe — handles payment
- Resend — sends the email
- Vercel — hosts the website
Some of these process data outside the EU. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Your song stays available at your private link until you ask us to delete it.
Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it.
To delete your song and your data, email supportgospelsongmaker@proton.me. We will confirm once it is done.
Cookies
We use only what is needed for the site to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Children
This service is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top.
